More than 20 young volunteers from Khot, Shinuhayr and Tatev Communities actively participated to Sheep Shearing Festival which was held on 10 June 2017 in Syunik Animal Market. Their responsibilities range вере very extensive. One group of volunteers ensured the safety in kid’s zone. Another group was responsible for meeting the guests (including foreign), providing them with general information about the event.

Efficient shearing competition activity has been ensured by the next group of young volunteers. They split sheep shearing stage and viewers up. We had a group of volunteers who interviewed more than 90 guests during the day. That survey is important and will help to organize next festival. There was nothing more important than the responsibility of volunteer group who maintained a clean area.

After the festival all volunteers were awarded certificates for assistance.

Works on promoting interest in the livestock , career-orientation and in the future preparation of young, qualified specialists for the labor market are continuously being organized and implemented in the regional educational institutions in frames of the “Livestock development in the South of Armenia” and “Professional education and training development in Syunik Marz” programs.
