We invite you to participate in the artificially inseminated calves’ completion to be held in 2019, in June / July, in the Syunik Animal Market, which will be accompanied by a photo exhibition. The initiative aims to promote the artificial insemination service of cattle and show the benefits of artificial insemination service. This initiative is implemented within the framework of the "Livestock Development in the South of Armenia" project. The project is implemented by the Strategic Development Agency and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.

All farmers in Syunik and Vayots Dzor, who have calves born from artificial insemination or who expect the breeding until March / April 2019, can participate in the competition.

Contestants may be:

• Improved F1 (first generation) calves

• Improved F2 (second generation) calves

The main goal of the competition is to promote pedigree cattle breeding.

The winning farmers in the competition will be rewarded.

The application deadline is 28.02.2019
